Default Bridesmaid's Lunch Ideas

I wanted to have a Bridesmaid's lunch the Thursday before our wedding. Anyone done this or have ideas where we could do this? It would be a party of no more than 15 people.

I had my bridesmaid lunch at the grand Floridian cafe ... The place was very nice and reasonably priced

How about afternoon tea at the Gardenview tea room? I haven't personally tried it out, but I've heard good things about it and think it could be a nice place for a bridesmaids lunch...

Also, if you have a flower girl and want to include her, the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian offers a princess version of the tea

The tea room is very nice - swanky and a formal nice time. The priced are a little steep though. I second the idea for grand Floridian cafe - similar atmosphere but more actual food at an agreeable price

My sister, nieces, one of my girlfriends and her daughter are having manicures at the Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian, followed by dinner in the Grand Floridian Cafe. The Spa has Princess Manicures for the little girls, and the cafe also has childrens' menus. They also have a particularly interesting drink and dessert menu LOL. We are thinking of heading over to MK to catch Fireworks or just walk around afterward. The tea room looked really nice, but wasn't open late enough for our group for dinner. I can let you know how it works out- we'll be there on June 7th.

We LOVE the Grand Floridian Cafe!!! We ate there for lunch for the first time when we went for our planning session and make it a point to go back every time we travel to Disney. We even ate there for dinner the day after our wedding!

So happy to hear this! My sister and I were just talking about our plans last night and I think the GF Cafe will be perfect!

I love the grand floridian cafe! They have the wicker furniture and looks like a nice sunroom. And the food is delicious!

I don't know if your part has park tickets, but the Crystal Palace and Plaza Restaurants in MK are gorgeous. Crystal Palace has pooh and friends characters, but the food is delicious, and there's a great view of the castle from both locations!

The cape may cafe at the boardwalk is nice and light, but is only open breakfast and dinner. The captain's grille at the yacht club is also very pretty and way less expensive than the yachtsman steakhouse.

Similarly, there are some nice restaurants in EPCOT, depending on if your party has park tickets!

Yes, we all have park passes and had planned to head back to MK after our manicures and dinner. We have reservations at the Cafe, but I will run the other options past my group and see what the consensus is. Characters are always appealing to have when you have children in your group, and we have three younger girls. Thanks Elyse!

The Grand Floridian Cafe is beautiful and very affordable. We always ask to be seated by a window looking out at the gardens.

We are having our family brunch the morning after the wedding at Grand Floridian Cafe. I also need a spot to bring all the ladies - MOH, moms, future sister-in-law...I like the tea idea!

I think 1900 Park Fare would be a lovely location.

I was considering Afternoon Tea the day of the wedding. I loved it when I went, but it seems like 12 pm would be too late. I would like the two girls in our group to go to BBB in the morning for their "spa" day to get ready, and to pick out whatever dresses they want for the wedding.

I like the idea of doing a little bridesmaid thing at the afternoon tea. I'm still in very early planning but plan to only have a few bridesmaids. Counting myself our party size would be 4-5 so a nice size for tea!

We ended up having manicures at Senses and then lunch at the Café. There were six of us altogether- three adults and three preteen girls. We all had so much fun! Senses was a great experience that I would recommend and personally plan to make time for on a future trip. The Café was relaxing, not crowded, and had something for everyone. We went upstairs to Basin afterward and bought bath bombs and then walked around snapping pictures.
