I got adam a watch for an engagement present that had diamonds at 12, 3, 6 and 9 and had it engraved on the back, if i hadn't already got that then it would've been a good wedding present, but i got some cufflinks for him off etsy, with 'to my forever' and 'from your always' on them but then i also got some more off etsy that i seen afterwards with vintage maps in, one cufflink was shark bay where we met and the other had Disney world for where we were married. You could choose to have anywhere you wanted put in them. The suits we got were hired and included cufflinks so they were a surprise when he got them on the morning of the wedding - one of my bridesmaids delivered them to his room. I also got a travel clock for him that i got engraved, like what we got our groomsmen in my recaps.

We didn't do the wedding gift thing either. I did surprise him with the vintage car for transportation at the wedding though, which was something he wanted.

I also did cufflinks, but I did claddagh ones, to represent love and his Irish heritage.

We discussed it and decided to not get each other gifts for our wedding day. We bought each other's rings and did several special couple things like getting a massages etc before our big day. We decided for our anniversary to do a jewelry gift. I'm getting another band and he is getting the watch he really wants. Everyone wins!

We didn't do any gifts, but we did take extra copies of our wedding invitations (to our at home dinner) and wrote each other a letter the night before the wedding. We didn't open it until our wedding night. Nothing exciting, but it was cute to read what he wrote.

Jason and I are going to get each other a little something. I have been trying to choose between a boudoir session and some cuff links. I was thinking about giving him a letter that I wrote when we first started dating that has been written in the calligraphy that he likes and then putting some pictures in the letter. I was also thinking of getting him the Nightmare Before Christmas Cuff links. Jason already told me that my present will be late. I am pretty sure he is getting me the saltwater aquarium I have been wanting for years.

I really want a portrait session with our mini Dachshund Sundae so Ive told Rich he can get me that (hes already asked me about wedding gifts you see!)

I might talk with him about if to bother at all though cos I still dont know what on earth Id get him?! xx

I gave John the Arribas Mickey cufflinks on the morning of our wedding and a card. At our rehearsal dinner I surprised him with a handheld game system thing he'd been salivating over. Oh, and the night before I sent him off to his hotel with a new pair of socks in case he got cold feet.

A good wedding gift from a groom is flowers. It's traditional for the grooms to present a gift of flowers to their mothers during the groom's speech. I think, since the gift is meant to be a celebration of your marriage, that you should ask for a gift that both of you can enjoy.

I haven't thought about getting my guy anything... I guess I figured that I could get him something while at Disney for memories :-)

Ladies and gentlemen of the council, I move to second the motion... No really. Just because we're both guys doesn't mean I understand his brain any better. What do I get him?? ...Do I...Do I do a boudoir shoot? Should I wear a corset??? Bahaha!!!

We started dating in 8th grade so I made a photobook of photos of us to pass through time for $100 through a website online. I really wanted to get the photos printed anyway so I think it will be nice for both of us

I decided to go with an experience for Joe. We had been dating for 7 years and he had always mentioned that he wanted to go to the Football Hall of Fame with his dad and his brother (which is just like an hour from where we live). I got tickets for all 3 of them to go. I figured if they had the tickets, there would be no more excuses. They went and had a great time and still talk about the stuff they saw there!
