Default Save the date

Hi all,

I've read a few boards and seen people sending save the dates with a rough date as Disney haven't confirmed the date and people have waited till they have confirmation, just wondering what you've done?

We are planning a relatively smaller guest list, so I have floated the idea of an unconfirmed date via word of mouth. I won't plan on sending out formal save the date notices until I have an actual confirmed date.

Save the date card is not necessary unless your wedding is destination wedding. You can order and send save the date card if you have enough time, save the date card should be sent our 6-8 months before your wedding.

For our wedding we did mail save the date cards, but at the time Disney FTW also provided a STD packet for our guests.
