You get room discounts, and a free room if you hit your room block quota.

Do you know what the average discount is for rooms?

You get ~20% your room for your block. You pick 3 hotels you'd like to utilize for your group. If you hit a certain number of nights/rooms you get a free night.

You also can get a small discount on park tickets through your Save the Date Site (which you'll be sent)... I think it was $10 off each ticket. I've also seen brides request convention tickets for their group (big discount for park access after 2PM).

However, if you want a meal plan, you cannot get the room block/park ticket discount. For us it worked out to be the same price either way, but depending on your hotel choices, the difference can be steep!

Does anyone know if there is any discounts on the transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Hello Magical Express! Free.
We usually rent a car while in Florida- but did use this service a few years ago.
Type in your airline and flight info and you don't even have to deal with luggage- just go on off to the parks. Just don't pack your magicband IN your luggage (me).

We did a room block and we are going to stay at the Boardwalk, but on the night of the wedding we are going to stay at the Poly! Totally looking forward to it.

Is the room minimum totalled across the couple resorts you can pick or does it have to be all from one?

I'm curious what other people have done- for the free night you get from meeting your room block quota did you use it the night of your wedding or a different night during your stay? Our wedding planner recommended not making it the night of the wedding as it would be too busy of a day to try and transfer hotels. We made it our last night in Disney but now I'm second guessing whether or not that was the right move!

I've heard many do it another night of their stay. Let's say the day after for the first night of honeymoon. You will be tired.

I used mine during our stay at the GF. I actually used it as a credit towards a concierge room. I didn't want to move rooms and wanted it the entire stay. I had no desire to move rooms with wedding stuff.

I am really hoping I can hit the 10 night room block so that we can get a night at the contemporary. I never thought about doing it another night than the wedding night but now after reading this it makes sense that we would be too exhausted to really enjoy it! So Glad I stumbled into this thread now!
